The steps of my life
I dived into the water at the behest of my dad, for the first time in my life, when I was 4 years old. From that moment on, I never stopped swimming. Water is my element, I couldn’t do without it.
I met Alessandro for the first time in the pool, we were in the same swimming team. It was love at first sight: we started dating and since then we never broke up. On September 22, 2011 we got married.
I finished my academic career in November 2013, instead of 2012, because I should have participated in the London Olympics. Because of an injury, i missed that big date and I threw myself 100% in studying, obtaining my graduation with 110 cum laude.
I lived my first year in the State Police Fiamme Oro sports group. That’s when I turned my passion for triathlon into work. Wearing the shirt of the Fiamme Oro and that of the National team, is a great honor and privilege.
I moved to Rome definitively in January 2015. I had to solve Achille’s tendon problem and I came to Rome to treat it. I needed to turn my sports life around, training in a new environment to get new incitement.

After high school, I started traveling a lot. In August 2006 Alessandro and I left for our first adventure trip to the southern coast of France. Since then my desire to visit the world has grown, a desire that has been satisfied thanks to triathlon. In fact, over the years, I have reached places far away that I never thought to visit in such a short time.
As a child I watched my grandmother cooking and I couldn’t wait to have a kitchen on my own to try a thousand recipes read on books or already tried in some restaurant. Cooking relaxes me and allows me to express my creativity. Since I am an athlete I have learned to have a healthy and nutritious diet, but without giving up the taste of a good dish.
After finishing the scientific high school, I was undecided for the choice of university between Architecture and Academy of Fine Arts. On the day of the admission test, the atmosphere inside the Brera Academy won me over. Even if over the years I decided to change course and choose the sport one, the experience in the Academy has remained indelibly impressed. Today, in fact, painting is my escape from reality, my medicine in the darkest moments.
